A feature length documentary video about the continuing effects of the Holocaust
on the chidren of the survivors. The children recount growing up with their parents
, the survivors of the Holocaust - the screaming nightmares, silent suffering, maladjustment, and
depression. An association of these children forms to explore their geneological
roots in Poland. They explore the town where their ancestors lived for hundreds
of years, and where today, no Jews live. The children struggle to reconstruct
a past,a complete family and a place their parents once called home. How will
these children, burdened with this history of loss and death take these horrors
into the next millenium? We explore these issues on the road to Poland as we go
back with the children to Gombin.
